Blogging with Windows Live Writer and Firefox 3

Blog quickly when you find something of interest on the web with Blog This in Windows Live Writer - now available for Firefox 3 series. Here’s something extremely useful for Firefox fans who write blogs using Windows Live Writer.

The Windows Live Writer team at Microsoft has released an updated version of Blog This - a Firefox 3 add-on that make it possible to blog pictures and/or snippets of web pages very quickly. The extension has been around for years but is now compatible with the latest (and upcoming) releases of Firefox up to version 3.2.

Blog This in Windows Live Writer

Blog This extension adds a Windows Live Writer icon near the search box of Firefox - you click that pen icon and the current web page will open as it is in Windows Live Writer. You can either blog the whole page or just a selected snippet.
